The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic alarm at North Bend Elementary School in the early hours of the morning. Chief 7, Engine 714, and Rescue 751 responded. Units investigated the school and found a small motor fire in the boiler room. Crews secured the area and were soon placed into service.

JVFC was alerted in the afternoon for a single motor vehicle accident in the area of Norrisville and Houcks Mill Roads. Units from JVFC responded and assessed a single patient who was treated and transported by I.V. 791. Units cleared soon after.
