The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the 1500 block of West Jarrettsville Road at approximately 12:00 a.m. Rescue 751 and I.V. 791 called en route moments after the alert and arrived at the scene of a single vehicle into a utility pole. The incident was upgraded to a rescue due to a patient being trapped in the vehicle. Engine 712 also responded to the scene and crews accessed the patient through the driver's side door. A total of two patients were evaluated and transported to a local area hospital for further evaluation.
