The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Hess Road and Jarrettsville Pike at 13:20 hours. Units quickly called en route and arrived on the updated location in the 4000 Block of Hess Road just inside the Baltimore County Line. Units found a single vehicle on its side with one person unable to get out. Rescue crews removed the windshield and assisted the person out of the vehicle. I.V. 791 assessed the patient who refused treatment and transport. Units were placed into service soon after.
