The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of West Jarrettsville and Phillips Mill Roads at 1137 hours. During dispatch, the incident was upgraded to a rescue assignment. Units quickly arrived on-scene and reported a two-vehicle accident with rollover, and advised no rescue. Crews assessed a single patient who was treated and transported to an area medical center. Traffic was affected for approximately one hour before the road could be re-opened.
