The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond two engines for a working dwelling fire located in the 1300 Block of Heaps Road. First arriving units reported a one-story, single-family dwelling with heavy fire showing. Engine 712's crew assisted with fire attack and overhaul. Engine 714's crew remained available on scene until clearing shortly after. Fire Police assisted with shutting down nearby roads while Engine 712 shuttled water to the scene from a near-by water source. Units remained on location for a period of time before being placed back in-service.
