Propane Truck vs. Pole 701 Box

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for reported gas leak in the 3800 Block of Norrisville Road. First arriving units found a propane truck that had struck a telephone pole causing an active propane leak from the truck. Crews were able to secure a safe perimeter and stood by until the hazmat team arrived. Hazmat crews was able to secure the leak and mitigating all hazards. Units were on scene for an extended period of time securing the roadway before being placed back in service.
