The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding mutual aid was alerted for a reported dwelling fire in the 2000 block of Highfield Road. First arriving units encountered a detached shed fully involved with exposures to multiple dwellings. Crews made a quick knock on the fire and checked for any extension. Units remained on scene for a short period of time before returning to service.
