Bill Poole is the longest-serving active volunteer with the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company, having joined in March 1955. Soon to be recognized for 70 years of dedicated service, Bill has continuously demonstrated unparalleled commitment to the citizens of Harford County.

Throughout his tenure, Bill has taken on numerous roles, including serving as Chief, Vice President, and many other positions. He has also been an active member of various committees over the last 69 years. Bill's extensive experience and unwavering dedication have made him an invaluable mentor to younger members, instilling in them the same sense of duty and service that has defined his time at Jarrettsville. His profound impact on the community and the fire company is evident in the countless lives he has touched.

Bill's service is not only measured in years but in the countless hours he has spent ensuring the safety and well-being of others. His legacy is one of selflessness and an enduring commitment to the betterment of Harford County.
