<description><![CDATA[ <p>The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company will be escorting Santa through Jarrettsville and the surrounding area on December 13th, 14th, 21st and 22nd beginning at approximately 5:00 PM each evening. Please note, while the fire company does our best to get down every street, some are not easily accessible (in a non-emergency situation) with our larger fire apparatus. We’ll have our Santa Tracker again this year and will post the link each night Santa is on the street!</p>
<p>**PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to go down all cross streets that are off the posted roads below. Also, locations / dates are subject to change depending on emergency calls for service.**</p>

<description><![CDATA[ <p>Engine 711, Engine 713, Brush 7-1, Brush 7-2, Utility 7-1, Utility 7-2, UTV 7, Supply 7 along with Engine 316 and Brush 3-2 from The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company operated on a bamboo fire in the 1700 Block of O&apos;Conner Road. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished shortly thereafter.</p> <br>

Crews arrived to find smoke conditions inside and were able to quickly locate and extinguished a fire in the ceiling. Crews remained on scene for an extended time before returning to service.</p> <br>

<description><![CDATA[ <p>The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding companies were alerted for a technical rescue call involving a subject trapped on a boom lift. Crews quickly arrived and determined the subject was in no danger and the assignment was quickly reduced. Crews were able to manually lower the boom and safely bring the subject to the ground.</p> <br>

<description><![CDATA[ <p>Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding companies were dispatched to the 1600 Block of Cynthia Court for a reported Chimney Fire. E711 w/4 (personnel), E712 w/4, E713 w/5 and R7 w/4 responded. Upon arrival, units located a working Chimney Fire. The assignment was held to JVFC units, and the fire was extinguished shortly thereafter.</p>
<p>Remember, have your chimney inspected and cleaned by a professional prior to using it during the colder months ahead!</p> <br>

Units arrived and reported a single vehicle on its side with one subject inside. The vehicle was stabilized, and the occupant was assisted from the vehicle and evaluated by EMS. Crews assessed the vehicle for further hazards before returning to service.</p> <br>

<description><![CDATA[ <p>The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond two engines to the scene of an auto fire in the 2100 block of Rock Spring Road. First arriving BAVFC units encountered a working auto fire with exposure to a building and requested the box. Engine 713 and Engine 712 assisted on scene before being placed back into service. No injures were reported and only minor damage to the structure was encountered.</p> <br>
