Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company responded an engine to assist Maryland Line VFC (Station 45) on a working vehicle fire with extension to a dwelling in the area of Old York Rd and Twig Ct. Engine 713 with 4 FF's responded immediately following the alert and arrived just after Tanker 45 and reported a fully involved vehicle with exposure to a dwelling. E-713's crew advanced a handline and began to extinguish the fire. Additional units from BCoFD arrived and assisted with extinguishment and ensuring there was no extension inside the dwelling. E-713 remained on scene for approximately thirty minutes before clearing.
